Beirut based and self-taught painter, Giovanni Khalil is a multi-disciplinary artist whose work is a playful exploration of boundaries.
Giovanni started his painting journey as a meditation to express himself, to articulate his inner voice and tell an original story about his experiences, memories, ideas and beliefs through a unique style.
With a blending of abstract, cubism and pop art, Giovanni is focused on creating, layer after layer, bold colorful canvases to break down the barriers within himself and delve deeper into the subconscious to only find freedom in its abstract expression.
